TRUGLO only recommends all sight installations to be performed by a professional gunsmith with sight specific installation tools.

 

DO NOT USE an ULTRASONIC CLEANER for maintenance of our TFO sights. These sights must avoid any contact with gun cleaning solvents, gun cleaning sprays, lubricants, preservatives or oils. Contact with any of the above substances can damage these sights and possibly void the TRUGLO warranty. Only a clean soft cloth, micro-fiber or cotton swabs should be used to maintain your TFO sights.

The yellow rear sight fiber-optic on these TFO sights is intentionally designed to be dimmer than the green front sight. This allows for greater front sight visibility and acquisition…a preference for many shooters.

You can clean the TFX® series sights with any common gun cleaning product, and they are safe to use with ultrasonic cleaning tanks.

 

TRUGLO does recommend that no brushes be used on the sights, especially near the encapsulated TFO modules.

 

Best use recommendations are to use cotton swabs or micro-fiber cloths to maintain the sights.

TRUGLO does not offer for sale, the TFX, TFX Pro, or Tritium Pro front sight only.

 

TFX, TFX Pro and Tritium Pro are sold as a complete set, front/rear.

To ensure your original sights are properly removed/installed and the firearm and sights do not get damaged, we recommend the installation of TRUGLO handgun sights to be performed by a competent gunsmith/technician familiar with the correct use of proper sight installation pusher or screw-type tools.

 

They will have the correct tools and expertise to correctly update your firearm. No impact devices, hammers, drifts, or punches should be used in the installation of TRUGLO sights.

All of our sights are optimized for a “combat style” 25-yard POI result. With the three dots in alignment, the front/center dot should be centered on the target.  This is considered a “combat-style” sight picture.

 

Using this sight picture should result in a Point-of-Impact (POI) directly behind the front sight dot at 25 yards. Please shoot your pistol from a solid rest at 25 yards, with two hands, using this sight picture.

 

We believe that the above sight picture provides the most consistent Point-of-Aim (POA)/ Point-of-Impact (POI) in all shooting conditions, Day or Night.

At this time, we do not offer sights for the S&W M&P C.O.R.E. series pistols.
