Fiber-Optic + Tritium Sights (TFO/TFX) not illuminating?

The fiber optic components of your sights, will only illuminate as to how much ambient light is available for the fiber to gather and illuminate. In total darkness, the natural glow of the tritium component is transmitted through the fiber to produce the glow of the sights.

Have you check this sights illumination in total darkness? If the sights do not produce a glow effect in total darkness, this would be considered defective. We warrant our handgun sights that contain tritium to be free from original defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 years.

Please note that all tritium sights get dimmer each day, but they are expected to be usable for approximately 10 to 12 years.  A tritium sight that is 12 years old should be approximately half as bright as a new sight.  A dim sight is not defective – it’s the natural result of the tritium decaying over time. If these sights have failed. We can issue an RMA# (return merchandise authorization) for warranty processing.
